A: “That’s a hard question. No, not always. But whatever you write about should come with some significance for you. Or why are you writing about it? And yes, learning something says a lot about you. That’s where true growth comes from. And admissions officers are nothing if not forward-looking beings.”
Q: “What if I just don’t have a story?”
A: “Of course you have a story! You know it, you’ve lived it. You just haven’t identified it yet. But it’s there!”
Q: “What’s the best story you’ve ever heard?”
A: “It’s always the next story I hear!”
